Bless Haiti, Bless us, Bless USA

While the outpouring of sympathy and support flows to those involved in the recent catastrophe in Haiti, inwardly, this crisis gives us pause to appreciate our personal good circumstance. I came across an anonymous 1570 French verse and feel it appropriate to share with you. "Sweet is life, if lived well, Whether in spring or winter, Under white snow or green boughs, When true friends help us live it; Here then there is, room for them all, for the old as for the young." Thank you, President Obama for recognizing true friends who are there to help one another, the old and the young.
