INTERIOR DESIGN BOOK REVIEW

Interior design includes many elements. For decorators, designers, and diy-ers, books provide depth of knowledge, understanding, and how-to’s for every topic. Walls, written by Florence De Dampierre, traces the history of wall treatments from prehistoric wall paintings to modern wallpaper applications. Dazzling and inspiring photographs illustrate this beautiful volume that includes chapters devoted to murals, wood paneling, stencils, and wallpaper.
Wall treatments are more than home decoration; they reflect the fashions, political philosophies, and art of various periods.

I highly recommend Walls as reference and inspiration. I only wish there was a glossary and index to further comprehension of all the wonderful information contained between its covers.
