Interior Design Trends: The Eat-In Kitchen

WROUGHT IRON BISTRO SET
Do you really need a large kitchen? Unless you have a large family or entertain lavishly, how many oversized appliances, sets of dishes, glasses, pots, pans do you actually need?

Today, many of us rely on the microwave, convection cooking, and prepared dishes that just need to be warmed and served. If we have a party, it’s generally catered or held at a restaurant. For many of us, the days of the large, full service kitchen are over.

Ask yourself how much kitchen storage do I really need? Wouldn’t I rather have space to create a cozy, functional, eat-in space that accommodates seating for casual meals instead of using the dining room? By sacrificing a few cabinets and drawers, you can create a charming comfortable space.
