Interior Design Trends: Benjamin Moore's Color of the Month

Lemon Shine 2020-20 is named Benjamin Moore’s color of the month (June). It’s a rich shade of yellow with a touch of mustard that adds pop to any room. Lemon Shine, described as “a super-charged orange, is an energetic shade that captures the shine and sparkle of unfiltered sunlight on a crystal clear day.”

Lemon Shine is great as an accen color whether used on one wall as a focal point, or as an accompaniment in a room with softer yellow walls; combined with other hues like gray or white or shades of its 
complement, violet.

How would you add Lemon Shine 2020-20 to your home this summer?

Toss a few bright and summery pillows on a sofa or side chair. Add a colorful throw over one arm or back of a sofa or chair.

Ikat, stripes, polka dots, and graphic patterns are great summer patterns without using the typical coral, fish, and water motifs. 

Lighting fixtures are wonderful tools for accessorizing in color.
