Art, decor, and architecture each stand on its own, and at the same time, enhance one another to create a single schematic whole. None need overpower the other. So much can be done with color, lighting, moldings, etc. to achieve a cohesive result. Home decorative schemes do not dictate the art, nor does an art collection dictate the homes décor.
