MAD INITALY WORLDWIDE DESIGNS

Wing Chair with a Contemporary Twist
As prelude to Art Basel and Design Miami, I've been invited to showrooms in the Miami Design District to view the newest and most exciting designs in furnishings, art, and accessories. I'm always looking for something special - And as my clients know, if my interior design style has a 'signature’, it's to add something unexpected...a bit of whimsy...an antique in a minimalist contemporary setting...or something out of character with the overall design scheme. It's what makes the room a unique expression of the owner's aesthetic.

One of my favorite showrooms visited to date is MAD INITALY whose open house was sponsored by Karina Gonzales, Business Development Manager of Florida Design magazine.  What a pleasure it was to browse through a showroom featuring a wide variety of Italian merchandise in a range of prices from very affordable to very high end.

MAD INITALY is a broad-based mix of furniture, art, and accessories compiled and imported from Italy by owner Nadine Curmi Borgomanero with as diverse a cultural background as her selections for the showroom. She was born in Lebanon, raised in Switzerland and Paris, attended college in California, and married an Italian. She selects every piece which resonates with her multi-cultural background. “MAD INITALY is really a lifestyle showroom. We offer a wide variety of high-end, quality Italian designs at many different price points.”

Open to the public as well as the trade, MAD INITALY is located at 4 NE 39th St, Miami. Discounts are available to the trade.
